Website: 12 Lessons Learned (2016)

Constant learning lies at the core of the McConnell Foundation’s social innovation mandate. But without an outlet for expression, potential learnings often go unnoticed, unmetabolized, and unshared with the broader social innovation community. McConnell engaged Adjacent Possibilities to devise a creative way to articulate a year of lessons from applying social innovation methodologies.

12 Lessons Learned represents the culmination of a month-long learning process engaging McConnell staff, board, and external partners.  Through dozens of surveys and interviews, we surfaced lessons, distilled them into a concise and relatable format, and then worked with artist Carla Lipkin to translate the lessons visually for a gallery and digital context.
